1. Why use silicone plates?

Silicone is the same material used in many baby products such as bottle nipples and sippy cup tops. It is safer than many plastics, durable, and versatile.

2. When is a child ready to start using one of Abiie’s plates?

Most children are ready around 6 months old when they have good head and neck control, can sit with support, and can bring objects to their mouths.

3. What foods should not be given to a child using a silicone plate for the first time?

Avoid foods that may pose choking hazards, including popcorn, whole grapes, raw carrots, nuts, seeds, candy, hot dogs, and large chunks of peanut butter.
